silly me. we talked about this stuff BEFORE we got married.

Doesn't mean a thing. Wifie and I did the same thing. Had long discussions (with a counselor) about my two children. We were married two months and she said " I know what I said but I'm not going to do that now."

That so hits home Dick. The one major point I would get across is to make sure you know everything there is to know, say that would change your mind and not get married before you get married. Now if someone is holding back, your screwed as I was!!!!!!!! Then throw in, I don't want to work, I just want to spend your money... :roll:

Chris, I can send you some of the water at work, I myself have not been drinking it, but apparently there is something in it cause it's not just the staff but the students too :shock:

As for Dave and I, Kids still haven't made the to do list :lol:

hahah, keep me some of that stuff! she just got off of the pill like 5 weeks ago after being on it for 16 years. might take a while.

My friend Gary's wife went off the pill, she was pregnant a week later :shock:

My ex was a stay at home mom, but lucky for me we were under the 7 year rule and she tried but got nothing. She gets $353.00 a month for child support and I have no problem with that. We have 50 /50 joint legal custody of Jordan. But here is the kicker. She has lost 1 job since moving in with her new boyfriend, she watches his kid who is 9, watches soaps all day, lives in a 250 K house has a maxed out cell phone, new laptop, 4 wheelers, etc. And she is on government assistance, has Jordan signed up for free lunches for the school and now is on medicaid. She is an able bodied 30 year old has Jordan 50% of the time and can't get a job. We have all these programs to help mothers with dead beat dads and other issues, but someone like this can get assistance too ? makes me really sad and ashamed. Jordan's teacher said I can use the free lunches too, I told her I work for a living and pay my own way through life. Welcome to the welfare state and the people who abuse it.

things that bug me regarding this stuff......

You support a woman for 8 years and dont marry her. She leaves you. You then must continue to support her. WTF?! I quit my job after 8 years and they dont owe me shit. Why must I support her?

You get fingered as the father and start paying child support? You MUST continue to pay until they are 18 regardless if it's your child or not. This continues to boggle my mind.

You buy an investment house, it's 1/2 hers. She buys an investment house, it's 100% hers. HUH!?
