Team "Old School" takes NMCA Atlanta

Lubel, Brian, Bob, and myself headed to Atlanta, GA for the second stop of the NMCA series. We arrived in Atlanta early Friday morning as we had our first qualifier that day. We were able to make one test hit as that that was the first time the car had been out this season. The car went straight and we were ready for the call for the first qualifier. They made the call and all the NPS competitors headed up to the lanes. After it was all over, our team managed a #1 spot with a 7.28. We packed up feeling good about our efforts.

Team BBNova will be switching over to 10.5 racing this coming 2011 season. Making use of the Dart 520 inch enigne and 2 systems, we will be competing at Milan in their Friday night heads-up series. We will aslo be making a few other events including the John Holt Race Cars

Coming off a win at the NMCA Maple Grove last month, and also the 2009 NMCA NPS Superbowl champion, team BBNova left with one crew member missing. Leaving my brother Chris behind due to family commitments, Brian, Bob and myself headed off to Joliet, IL early Friday morning. We arrived at the track around 9am local time. This left us time for a couple test hits as we hadn't been out since we won at Reading, PA a month ago. We unloaded

07-20-2009 - After a short ride over to Joliet from the Deroit suburbs, Team BBNova showed up Friday morning with intentions of making a test hit or Two. After setting up our pit area, we prepared the car for our first test pass. It truned out we sat in the staging lanes for 2 1/2 hours, as the lanes we packed with cars. We fianlly got the car to the front of the staging lanes and I suited up and got ready for our first hit.

NMCA Memphis wrapup

10-14-2008 - Team BBnova was excited with the thought of the 2008 NMCA finals in Memphis Tennessee. We showed in Memphis on Thursday around 3pm after a 13 hour drive. We wanted to get at least one hit in to see what the track conditions were. We unloaded and prepared the car for our first hit. The call was made for testing so we towed up and I got strapped in the car.

09-23-2008 - Team BBNova showed up in Atlanta early Friday morning for some test passes to get a feel for the conditions there. Myself, Brian, and my wife Colleen unloaded the trailer and waited for my brother Chris to show up from the airport as he is a pretty pretty princess and couldn't do the drive. 1pm came and the call was made to come to lanes to make our first test pass.

NMCA Milan 2008

08-25-2008 - The 2008 Milan event had some great highs and some very low lows. My brother Chris and I showed up at Milan drgaway early Friday morning to get a couple test hits in before our first qualier later Friday evening. that first qulifier was also first round for the Nostalgia Pro Street shootout that was sponsored by Flowmaster. As we waited to get in, Chris fell asleep in the back seat while I unloaded and set up.

Joliet- Team BBNova

07-22-2008 - The NMCA superbowl for 2008 was one to remember for Team BBNova. The 2 months that followed the NMCA Bowling Green race were both long and short. We were itching to get out yet trying to be as prepared as we could. This race brought back a special person back to the crew, my crew chief Brian Mullaney.

This made a full crew of Colleen Chris and Brian, Uncle Alex and Duane.
