I finally finished my Tubing bender. Its based on the JD2 manual model but I machined 3/4'' Thick arms where they used 1/2" and Made it Hydraulic. It bends like Butter. about 1 minute to bend to 75 degrees in one stroke of the ram. If I need to go more I just re-pin it and continue up to about 190 degrees.

No More store bought cages for me!

Thanks. I have 1 5/8" and just ordered 1 1/2" at $300 a piece plus shipping ( very heavy chunks) I have to spread them out a little but that should get me going on most cage stuff.

i got a rigid hand bender for 1/2" tube for bending moly tube. comes in handy for fuel cell/pump mounting and fiberglass parts etc. that worked out alot better for me than buying another die.
