Yes it does make your computer run slower with all those files on it. Get an external hard drive or just break down and get her her own computer. The hard drive is the cheaper bet and if you go to Best Buy the Geek guys/gals will help you with it, what you need and how to hook it up, etc. Itunes will only store on your computer and not another site. My friend has 2.5 terabyte of music, 1900 songs isn't much, I suggest buying an external hard drive that you simply plug into the usb port, they are very cheap now.

Yep! I was going to say the same thing. Only thing I would add is, how about have her pay for it. Help her learn to be responsible for her actions.
