Morning!

What a great weekend. Missed the Woodward Cruise of course but other then that I had a super weekend. Saw Kelly & Scott yesterday at Mason Dixon dragway. Scott showed a bunch of old hill billys the short way home. Saturday he wanted to test & Tune so he entered a trophy race so he could get on the the track. He pulled in the staging lanes next to a brand new Chrysler 300. The guy in the Chrysler looks over at him, sees the most beautifu Chevelle he's seen in his life and notices the chute on the rear. He gets out and walks up to Scott and says "Am I in the right class?" :lol:

It was great seeing Scott & Kelly this weekend, and Scott, Thanks for all the help and instructions on the MSD! :wink:

Reminds me of the time I had the car in the trailer, all locked up, and this guy approached me and said "Is that that black Chevelle in there?"

I said "yes" and we proceeded to visit for quite a while, him telling me how beautiful the car was, and how fast, and he was impressed blah blah blah. About a half hour this goes on and finally he says "...What year is that? Is that a '64 or a '65?".

I said "...no, it's a '74".

Long pause, and he says "It's not that black '64 or '65 Chevelle?"

Me: "Nope."

"Oh" he says, and turns around and walks off.

I'm pretty sure he said Arizona. One of those states ou that way. He took the familly out there for vacation..

They really ran a tight ship this weekend. I didn't get to watch any racing between rounds. I do have a clip of Scott (actually the losing round) which was either the 1/4 or semi-finals. I'll put it up with a link to it later today.
