Also this weekend is the "Eyes on Design" car show, which is a concours type event that benefits the Detroit Institute of Opthalmology.

I was asked to bring the GTO out, so I will have it at the Edsel Ford Estate on Sunday, hobnobbing with the rich folks in their blue suede shoes and Ferrari hats...

Well it was actually on at the time stated but as usuall a race show that spent 95 % of the time on the mustangs nmra and a few minutes on the nmca stuff. at the end of the show they put up a list of the winners in nmca and I did get to see Kevins name, but the announcer read everything on the screen EXCEPT Kevins name. WTF ??????

here we have the mustangs. here is a 1979 ford mustang that came out of dearborn assembly.look at how fast it is. here it is running 13.25 seconds in the quarter. His competition is a bright orange 1992 mustang lx notchback. The father of the owner works as a dog catcher in mississippi. I once golfed with him. the lifters on the right lane mustang are made of a new nano carbon.

commercial.

ok, we're back. here is a 12 second mustang. it has to run 10.5s and no bigger motor than a 460. Here's the full set of rules. It's running another 12 second mustang.

ok, we're out of time. but here's 2 seconds devoted to all of nmca.

well, at least they showed kevins car at the end. I saw my shadowy outline too for a milisecond when it wasnt covered up by ads.

Reminds me of "Monster, Inc", where Mike is on the cover of a magazine, but they cover him up with the postal information (address).

He pulls the magazine out of the box, looks at it and says..."can you believe it?....I'm on THE COVER OF A MAGAZINE!!!"
