It's about time NASCAR actually has an American made car racing for them, being the Toyota, the chevy and dodge are built in Canada and the ford is in mexico, to bad the profits go to japan :lol:

Congrats!! Both of you! I bought a Honda one time when I had a fifty mile drive to work, 100 mile round trip. Put 300,000 on it. Parked it in the barn for 3 years and then gave it to the neighbor's son. It started with the addition of a new battery. He drove it for two years adn then sold it for $1000. He came back over and tried to give me the money, we ended up splitting it! Great car! Wish the american car companies could build one that good.

Come on guys, this isn't the 1990's. You are talking about perceived quality not actual quality.... Our quality matches if not beats the imports currently. Did anyone hear that Honda I think it was had more recalls than they actually built last year??? Of course not.. I wonder why???

I have to say Kevin, that the quality of my wifes 98 Caravan is pretty good. its @ 120,000 Miles & has very little put into it. my truck is right @ 130K & Ive put into it $2500 for a "fuel pump" that is considered a consumable. that is NOT right. Mind you its a diesel, but .................. the new one should live a little longer than the old one though. I will probably end up putting another $1500 into the trans to make sure that it lives a happy life & I dont end up having to spend $3000 to get it rebuilt. my 98 Honda on the other hand, is right @ 120k-130K & has not had anything go wrong with it. so................ I suppose if you look @ the 3 of them the Dodge truck is the loser. Ive had a LOT of other cars, inbetween there as well.

chevy and dodge didnt have anything that was too appealing to us, and we never had any luck with the fords we have owned. the honda that we traded had 120k miles and never had the first problem with it, seemed to be a pretty good car so we decided to try them again.

and we get free car washes for a year, that has to count for something :lol:

people that dont buy American cars today are just uninformed. why GM doesnt advertise this shit is beyond me.

At todays rate, 20 years from now, every single person in the U.S. will be working at starbucks making $7/hour and driving foreign cars wondering where their job went.
