I chatted with Chris Parent today and he suggested I post this info here since some of you guys might be interested.
We are a small company That makes carbon fiber parts. We did a Car for SEMA in 2005 that was invited back in 2006. It is now being plastered all over the covers of magazines and will be auctioned off at Barrett Jackson.
In an article that Chris Singer of the Detoit News did about 1 1/2 years ago on our shop.,we were working on some carbon fiber panels. Those panels have made news like The Detroit News could never have given them. They have appeared at the SEMA show 2 times, and have been in several magazines. They won the Mother's Shine award (from Mother's polish).
They won the Daimler Chrysler 2006 Design excellence award. They won the Sony Playstation Best Street machine of the year award in 2006, Mattel Hotwheels Best Street Machine of the year 2006, The 2006 Good Guys street machine of the year. They Byds best pick of the picks. They also were given the prestigous honor of having a hotwheels car built after it.
These panels happened to go on the 71 Cuda Built by Alan Johnsons Hot Rod Shop In Gadsden Alabama.
The car is awesome and can be seen on the websites The Popular hotrodding magazine did 2 articles on it. Super rod did a front cover and a 12 page article mentioning us in it. The Barrett Jackson Experience magazine has it posted on the front cover and has a 4 page article showing it off as well as several spots in the Barrett jackson sneak Peek magazine where it is on the rear cover and the inside of the last page (cover).
it will be auctioned off on January 20th and I plan on being there to try to get some publicity from the auction.
