Good morning all.

Got back from FL at midnite. A rather wasted weekend for us. four shots and could not get down the track!!! Thats just not us, BUT we now know why. TO LITTLE, TO LATE.

But we still have the numero uno all next year!

Oh well, I am just gonna leave the country on a lil racing holiday. i ma off to New Zealand tomorrow for a week!

I had the blower freshened after Columbus because it was really weak
Mistake number one! Shoulda left the tuneup alone. But in hindsight a .58 woulda got us an ass whipping 2nd or 3rd round!

I was real conservative on the tuneup because i didnt want to hurt the motor. It is gonna belong to someone else.
Mistake number two, sorta.

The tires had 16 runs them.
Big mistake number three! Last year we went to ORL with new tires. After they sat all winter with only 8 runs on them, we figured they would be fine. Not really, as we found out in Belle Rose. The last set we took off this year had 24 runs on them and the last 60 foot was a 1.05. With the low end power we are now making with this new blower MT says 15 runs max!!!
On the last qualifier John put it is 2nd gear and it lit the tires like a fueler, he pulled all the levers but he had to get out of it when he could no longer see where he was!

And that is the long and short of it!
