Tried the car out the other night

Took the car to Cecil County the other night. Almost perfect conditions! Jim was driving. Good news & bad news. The good news: I was very pleased with the way the car performed although we have a LOT to learn! The bad news: I couldn't get Jim out so I still haven't driven it!!! :idiote:

good stuff! that car is very nice. I tried to measure, is it about 45 feet long! hahahha

OK,

So it appeasrs we have starting line issues. Spun on the first pass and dead hooked and brought the rpm's down too much on teh second pass.

Do you just need some time with it?

Engine sounds great!!!! Good mph for that pass too....

First runs since I've had it in my possession. Fresh clutch from Bonninfante and I didn't want him to drive through it so it was tight (4 rounds of base and 24 grams of counter) and a lot of air in the tires (12 lbs.). Spun all the way through low and second. Second round I dropped the launch rpm and set the tires at 9.5 lbs. Being old and fat I didn't want to mess with the clutch at the track. but since that night I've taken two rounds of base out of it. The two step was coming off a litle late and pulling the engine down on the starting line so I've done some adjusting there also.

Looks great Dick! Also looks like you know what the issues are, thank god small. Just keep slowly fixing stuff and you'll have her flying in no time! You think you might bring it down to NMCA Maplegrove?
