I am building new bbc for my Nova this winter, and I would like to clean up the engine bay alittle, I have Hooker super comp headers, I used to run over valve covers, however I have always thought it looked tacky? Motor will have sheetmetal covers, should I run under headers? has anybody with a 68 to 74 bbc Nova have any ideas? Picture would be great. Wire recomendations? with part #s, HEI cap.
Thanks John

Hey that looks familar! Wish my valve covers were still that shiny. Tell ya what, after running them under the headers I'm ready to switch to over the valve covers. With them underneath and pulling plugs all the time I'm constantly worrying about if one of the wires is touching a header tube.

I'm going to switch to above the valve cover this winter to make it a little quicker to work on and easier to see if the wires are clear of everything. I do think they look cleaner underneath, just not as easy to work with.

I'd put them between the distributor and the spark plugs. I've had great
success doing this in the past. Hope this helps Loud!! oeps
