Any suggestions?

Currently have a 2003 Avalanche 1500 which serves the purpose well but maybe looking at something else, maybe a diesel.

Any suggestions?

Jimmy you ever come across young diesel trucks?

I bought a DuraMax truck around 1 year ago. I really like the thing alot. It tows a ton better than a gas truck and gets better gas mileage. If you are looking to get a GM anything, make sure you drop me an e-mail of what you are wanting to get. I can get you a very good deal on anything from GM. It got me around $12,000 off my truck. Monty can get you the employee deal...go get it but first get your numbers...and I'll check with one of my dealers....the last of the month is always the time to deal...last day even better(they know where they are at for % back money on volume)
Quick story....June 00 a good friend is GSM at a Chrysler/Jeep store...last day of the month 7pm...he calls, man I know you wanted a new Sahara...come get it I NEED 1 MORE VEHICLE TO GET $300 A UNIT EXTRA BACK (180 + units all or none) He had 179 on the street...I go down 7:30pm...sticker $26,800 he says tissue is $23,400 my wife likes it(I got him bent over) He says lets do it...I say $20,000 Tax and all...He was pissed but he did it. He said how much down....I say 000 sign and drive....I got it drove it a year.....traded on a new Jeep Liberty (at cost) got $19,300 trade in. And they sold it while I was there 'cause I autographed the owners manuel for the couple that bought it(It was nice, my wife wouldn't let me use it)
Moral of the story....cash talks...at the end of the month!
