Post subject: | Hi guys and gals :o) |
Thanks for all the support and kind words. With the 7.58 pass I have to tell you we took the car to 3000 lbs but still ran the NPS tune up and took out the Digital 7 and put the MSD 7AL2 ignition, retards and 3 steps from my old 71 Camaro into it and it seemed to like it. On that run we did have a lot of tire shake and I let off just before the end of the quarter (don't ask me why... I guess I was just so shocked the car wasn't backfiring). We took the weight out of it because we wanted to see how it would react because we are looking at running Super Street with the OSCA next year and maybe some 10.5 classes. We decided to stay local because last season every run we took was a disaster and we spent lots of money and didn't take home a penny. We love the NSCA and Tony DePillo is the best but we are going to take a year off and stay local and see where that takes us. Needless to say I am satisfied the car has potential and am relieved we ended the year with the car on a positive note - I feel so much better now. |
