to remember that this is a day the Lord made!
Yesterday about this time a power surge took out a couplethings in our house. Not the lease of which was my router (can't believe how addicted to the internet I've become
). Over night we had rain, The temperature has been in the twenties for over a week. So, as soon as the rain hit anything it froze. Accidents all over the place ( poeple don't have enought sense to slow down in bad weather). This morning the power went out at about six. I've been running on the generator since. My Valentine went to work (administrator at a hospital and wouldn't miss a day like this if her life depended on it) and the way things are outside her best bet is to stay right there tonight. I'm going stir crazy. I've read everything in house ( resorted to reading the backs of cerial boxes a while ago). finally decided to try dial up to get on line. Can't believe how slow this is. 
With all this crappy weather I am sure several people are sitting at home alone while their loved one clears our roads, restores power, tends to those hurt,etc I really, really hate this weather
