He is well and with a broken computer that he is hoping to fix very quickly. He misses the boards and communicating with us all very much.

He is always a joy to speak to and was talking a lot about the race car and looking forward to next year.

Yes... he is also under a rather thick blanket of snow. He told me about all of the roads that were closed and all that he saw and heard from "a guy that is snowed in" point of view. It didn't sound like a whole lot of fun for those that were trying to travel.

YEAH BUTCH CALLED AND WANTED TO KNOW IF THE WEATHER IS AS BAD AS THE NEWS SAID IT WAS, I WANT TO TELL YOU ALL IT SUCKS.

CHEVELLE IS DONE AND WE NEED TO FIND A WARM PLACE TO DO SOME T & T, SUSPENSION WORK AND THE LIKES OF GET THE CAR READY TO RACE.
GOT THE CAR TO BANDIMERE FOR 4 QUICK RUNS BUT THIS WAS THE LAST DAY OF THE TRACK BEING OPEN AND THEY HAD ABOUT 300 BRACKET CARS AND A TON OF IMPORTS RUNNING THAT DAY,
CAR RAN MIDS 12 AT 112-114 MPH.
WE NEED TO GO BACK TO A 4.10 GEAR OR SO, THE MOTOR IS BUZZING CLOSE TO 7500 IN THE TRAPS AND THE 4.56 GEAR IS A WRONG FOR THE BBC.

IS THERE A CALULATION TO USE TO GET THE REAR END GEAR RIGHT?
AT HALF TRACK THE CHEVELLE HIT A FLAT SPOT AND I DONT THINK IT PICKED UP ANY MORE SPEED WHEN THAT HAPPENED.
I DONT WANT TO BUZZ THE MOTOR TO 7500 RPMS, I DONT THIS THIS MOTOR WILL LIVE LONG AT THAT RPM. IT'S A PRODUCTION BLOCK WITH THE 3/8 TRUCK RODS AND MANLEY PISTONS. ALL THIS STUFF WEIGHS A LOT AND SPINNING THE MOTOR LIKE THAT SCARES ME.
SO IF THERE IS A WAY TO HELP GET THE REAR GEAR RIGHT PLEASE LET ME KNOW..
