Every year they tell us on the news how much we are behind the "normal" rainfall for the season. so "normally we have 5" of rain @ this time of year, now we only have 1.5" of rain" or something like that. this being a desert, how much rain we get is important. we get the majority of our water from the Colorado river (its pumped over to us). w/o rain the price of water (& availability) goes up. so........... any rain we get is important. not significant, but important. no but I tried a new one last night. It was "Luau Lager". I kid you not, that was the name of it. it is made in Hawaii, in Waimea. its actually not a bad beer. for a Lager its pretty light & not a real strong after taste. Im more of a wheat ale kind of a guy, but this is pretty good for a lager. http://www.waimeabrewing.com/brewery-beer.htm I guess they make some IPA's & a few other's. I am going to go back to Bev-Mo & see if they have any of those IPA's or the other light beers. I dunno if any of you guys are into beer, but http://beeradvocate.com/ has a LOT of stuff on beer. dont goto www.beer.com, its not what you would might think. although there is a beer wench thing there that Im SURE Dogg will like. LOL. Bob |

Never had that. Im sure they have it @ Bev Mo, if it was good I will give it a try. did you like it?? I like Guniess every once in a while, but I have to be in the mood for a rock Gut beer to drink that. this is nothing like Guniess. its much lighter, but still has a medium flavor to it (Guniess being a Full flavor). bob |

In fact! They shouldn't even be allowed to call that *&^* Beer! was it a draught or a stout??? the stout is pretty nasty, but the draught is pretty darn good. its a REALLY heavy beer & it is pretty stout, so you gotta like it to like it. but for a stout beer its good. well that & Rick is just a pussy. ROFLOL. Dogg was that today or this year? bob |
