That's why I only race NPS. The rules make it even for most combinations... If I were to run S/S, I would probably go to a turbo... |

for sure I dont envy the job of the rule makers. the different power adders are SOOO different that making them ~ the same ET is WAY difficult. IMO, the N2O cars should be the baseline & then limit the blower & turbo guys by diameter & the NA guys by weight. the way they are trying to do it with weight (such as heavy), is just CRAZY. Lutz is running 200+ MPH @ >3500 Lbs. that is NUTZ. they should limit him to 82 or 83 mm trubo's. that will take away about 400 HP or so & slow him down. dont get me wrong, I LOVE to see him flying, but that is nuts. Yea, I dunno what to say about SFI. I know that lots of folks have thier opinions about it, but I am not smart enough to have a comment. all I know is that my car only certs to 8.50 & I dont have the money for anything faster so, Im done right there. LOL. Bob |
