did you guys know that New Balance is an American Company that actually makes shoes here in the US??? Mind you they dont make ALL of thier shoes here, but they make quite a few models. as well as "assemble them made from imported parts". as well as importing finished products.

I just found out that they also make more than running shoes & cross trainers. they also make court shoes & other specialty shoes. http://www.newbalance.com/ thier stock just went up in my book. I try to buy American every chance I get. Ive bought thier cross trainers/running shoes for a long time & need a new set of court shoes. so....... looking.

To stay on topic---- I have a pair of New Balance shoes and they are the most comfortable shoes that I have ever purchased.

When I worked at the Marina, they were a New Balance Dealer. All that I ever wore. Most comfortable and longest lasting shoes I ever had. I think I still have a pair or two around.
