I am throwing a surprise party for a friend at her house on Sat (that's her birthday) She is very hard to get to come out so a few of us are going to bust in on her with dinner, wine (lots) and dessert! She has a huge grill and we need some different ideas on what to cook that isn't the same old bbq chicken or montreal seasoned steak and some ideas for fresh corn on the cob and baby potatoes! So come on guys/gals help me out!!! Oh, dessert is covered, a rich double chocolate fudge cake, yummmmmmm!

So let's here your ideas and Biggs keep it clean

Shannon I am a 12 month griller...... Salmon on the grill is great.... and fast..... I started this year cooking Corn on the Cob in the Microwave..... Leave it in the husk 3-4 minutes per ear...... its the freakin best (I'm from Jersey I know good Corn) Grilling green peppers/onions/zuccinni on the grille is great..... Marinate in Olive oil and some seasonings for 10 minutes before...... steamed shrimp (from store) are great dipped in butter put on a skeiwer and put on the grill..... 1 minute a side.......Filet Migeon cut in chunks on a skiewer is quick and great...... Asparagas seasoned in butter/olive oil and spices is outta this world on the grille....... Hot Italion sausage is quick and fantastic...... Sea scallops (big ones) on a skiewer..... dip in butter first cook quick and are great

Wow Jimmy that's awesome! My Mom in Law does the same with her corn and keeps telling us to try it, so I guess now I have too, lol! I gotta stay away from the shellfish due to my allergies and it being on a grill  But the other ideas great!

Potatoes......Try this..... cook em whole in microwave (2 minutes per tator)take them out slice half inch slices put butter and old bay seasoning between each slice put potato back together wrap in tin foil put on grill for 25-30 minutes..... the tin foil will be black from leaking butter but you talk about freakin great tastin.... they are the best (plus you can do the first part at home)

Chicken......Squeeze fresh lemon with salt on boneless breast......slice lemons and place on top while on grill.... pull lemons and flip chicken place lemons back (squeeze more lemons on too) this gives a great taste to chicken
