Looks like Kevin is #3 after the 1st round of qualifying with a 7.79 (only .10 behind Nesbitt). Looks like it's gonna be hot and humid all weekend!! Good Luck!! Scott |

Yep, I just got off the phone with Rita, Kevin is #3, Tony is #1, Ricart is #2 and Baio is #4! They are just getting ready to go up for their 2nd, yes 2nd round of qualifying, their 1st round was at Noon  I guess it is super crazy, Rita said she heard over 700 cars were there! There are 20 cars in NPS, wow! Rita also said it is hotter then hades and the track is crap, between the 6" of rain they got yesterday and the heat today! So keep your fingers crossed

That was on Thursday afternoon. They had to close the gates because of the SEVERE weather around 4 or 5 that day. They had a line of trailors waiting to get in when I left to go home on thursday night. Guess it turned out that they had people parked across the street in the roundie round track till the AM. As of yesterday afternoon there were still a few trailors trickling in. It is crowded and HOT here. Should be some good racing. |

Okay, posting this a little late, was out to dinner with the girls when Rita called about 6:30, they were just getting ready to go up for the 1st round of Eliminations. Bruce Polous showed up and upset the ladder, he took #1 and knocked Tony to #2 and Kevin wound up in #6 position. I have not hear anything more so I have fingers crossed Kev is still in it! |

We had the number 1 qualifier, Bruce 2nd round.. I hate that sportsman ladder... Anyway it was colse. Bruce left first with a .028 to my .037 light. He out ET'd me also with a 7.697 to my 7.716.... Good job Bruce... |
