I96 Speedway last night was fun, but I'm whipped. The races lasted all night until about 5am :shock:

It rained at 8pm delaying the start until like 11pm or so, Mel did an excellant job of keeping me from sleeping :lol:

She dragged me out of bed once, when the sun was coming up, I hit the sack again and got a couple hours sleep, Carol and I got home this morning at 10am and slept til 4pm today, So today is shot in the buttocks. Ok, gotta run to another party in Lansing....See ya

P.S. - Mel don't you dare post those pictures :lol:

But, let me just say.... it was nice "hanging out" with Dogg and Carol.... (literally, HANGING OUT.........)

Yeah, I had to go wake Dogg up a couple of times, but only once did he actually come out with us. Races were delayed until 11pm and ran until 3 am. We were up until, well, I went to bed at 8:30 am and got back up at 10:30. Yesterday was a VERY LONG day for me as I wasn't able to go back to sleep until almost 11 last night.

It was a BLAST though! I am so glad you guys came out to party with me and THANK YOU sooooo much for bringing me the birthday cake and singing Happy Birthday to me and all. You guys are great.

Now Mel, you see the thing is being that we are all scattered about the country we do not always get to join each other to... as you say it... "hang out". HOWEVER in TRUE BBNOVA traditon we do try to take a few photos to share with each other... now, if you do not share a few of your pictures... you would be breaking a long standing tradtion here at bbnovaracing.com (oh and don't worry about Dogg I will deal with him in COlumbus)
