Bill from first inspection of the motor it looks like I got the #4 piston. Boo King loaned me his borescope and saw that the ringland was missing right by the valve relief.
I got home late tonight....and will crack the motor tomorrow.

Bill thanks....it is a tough pill to swallow that is for sure expecially the money that I spent to get here. And to have it go up in smoke on the first real pass. That was a kick in the pants for sure. Well I got the heads off..and I need 8 pistons....will have #1 & 3 as spares but will go on and replace all 8 and get the one head fixed (need to get the melted piston off of it). But hey...that's racin......
