And NHRA does acknowlege SFI as their safety institution, but NMCA does not, NSCA does also, but NMCA does require a NHRA license to compete, man I'm confussed again.

Oh, your right, so the track is the one who demanding the license probably. So who says the SFI is correct in saying what is safe and what is not??

I agree. And as far as the license goes. I haven't seen a tech guy from the track in years. It's all done by NSCA officials.

I Agree. But rules are only as good as the people enforcing them. I know of a car around here that was built from a VERY OLD Alston kit. It's all .095 and thinner wall mild steel. The guy tells the NHRA official it's chrome moly. It's got a 25.1 sticker on it now
