Has anyone ever been to this show? Worth while or just get the video? What about rooms, any suggestions? Would like to go this year, and being north of the border (remember Kevin, the BORDER, I think after that, we will Fly down) would like some insight into where most of the racers will be. You don't want to miss this race if you absolutely can get there. This past year was somewhat of a wash, which was very abnormal. The year before was incredible. If you want to see the baddest race of the year, get there. I would defiantly fly unless you're racing. The video from last year was awesome but you really need to be there in person.

Snyper, I'm from Canada. But still only about 25 hours drive from here. But I heard of this new thing to cut the times way down, call a PLANE or something. Fly in, rent car, trash rental car, fly home. Sounds good. John

The next event is in Oct. 15 - 17 '04, if I'm not mistaking. But there seems to be quite a gathering at the Race Rock on Thursday before the event. So I'm Planning on leaving early on the Thursday and coming home late Sunday/early Monday. John

Race Rock is trhe sickest cruise night there is, get there early enough to see the escorting police bring in the "Street Cars".

I have a home video from the year before of the 'Rock", just need to get it into the comp and make some wmv's.

4mula, why not. I got the '02 tape from my buddy, and will be getting the '03 DVD at the Detroit Auto-Rama show at the end of Feb. The colder it gets, the better it looks. John :D
