After an all-nighter Friday night we left for the 4 hour Picton Ferry ride across the Cook Straight. We got into Christchurch about 700pm Sat evening. Its kinda cool driving a T200 Kenworth on the wrong side of the road and on all 2 lane highways! We all spent 4-5 more hours on the car on Sunday morning at the track finishing everything. We missed the first of two qualifiers then went out and qualified # 1! Went to the final and lost when the starter died. It really sucks when you have 3/10ths on the other car and yours wont start. Then to add insult to injury, he broke the blowere belt in the burnout. He got the car staged and that was the end of that. But we did well considering all that had to be done. The first passes with a new fab9 rear, 34.5x16 tires and the Superman blower off of our car and fuel system timers. And the car's new paint is awesome. I'll post some links when they become available. |

I read that post after I saw this one....Plus I was screwed up because you are a day ahead of us down under.......so you could have your days mixed up or when you got back hear...you could have stayed on Down Under time...and been a day ahead of us forever....however I'm a day late/dollar short so I'm not sure if I'm one day behind you or two |
