Just got the Reid T400 trans and a Chance bolt together converter.
Davis traction controller and will be ordering the Holley ECU soon.
This thing will never be done this year so I bought a 55 Bel Air Post car to use in the mean time :)
See my facebook page for pics

Strange S60 is completed and being bolted in.
Still haven't gotten the engine in place, not much being done on it the last month.
Holley EFI parts all arrived, that was painful. Decided to do the LED screen as well after much debate.
Holley throttle body is here, I'll use this on the street engine.
VED is making me some billet valve covers and getting the EFI bungs in place on the Sniper Jr. intake.
T&D rockers arrived
Carbon fiber NOS bottle arrived, that with the fogger I'll play with a bit on this street 496 engine.

Engine mock up is done so plates can be placed now. Moved the engine back a little bit, Lemons headers still fit really nice. Need access holes with covers to get at the bell housing bolts from inside the car. Tranny cross member is done. Driveshaft sensor and front wheel sensors arrived. Billet water pump arrived. Holley crank trigger is on it's way. Kicked off VED on a biller intake, should be done in a couple of weeks...….wheew that's it for now. Cars been in chassis jail for 22 weeks now, can't wait to get it home and start wiring

Starting the funny car cage portion, I was going to wait but since chassis jail is so long I don't want to bring it back now. Chute parts ordered I believe. Just priced out an engine block, still need pistons and rods yet. Street nitrous engine nos pills, bottle heater and fogger lines arrived. BOV for the Procharger motor will be here on Saturday. still waiting on the biller intake. up next driveshaft, coat the headers, put on the oval exhaust, mount the seats, wire the part and start putting it all together, in that order

Dart Alum block is on order, should be here in a couple weeks. Cam is on order. Cage work is completed 100%. K-member is cut out and replaced with tubing. Mounting the steering rack next and getting the steering shaft in place. Still need to mount the seats next week I hope.
tin work in the back is started, I'm still planning on keeping the back seat, well part of it I hope, just so it looks the part, but the frame may not go in now so I'll replace with foam if I can get it to look nice, cut the main hoop seat frame in half, get it back there, then re-weld it....we'll see if it works out. Ran out of money before I could get pistons and rods ordered, so that'll be next month. Still need the intercooler also so we can fab up the 4" piping. Getting closer but no way it'll run this year doesn't look like

Rack is in. Steering shaft will be here today so I'll get that over so he can figure out how to make that fit around the Lemons Headers. I sat in the car on Sunday so the seat can be positioned. Felt really good, lots of room, not crowded like the Fox Mustang was. Brake pedal needs moved back about 1", gas pedal isn't usable at all, we'll need to put a new one in as I sit back to far. Intercooler cores are ordered and he'll start fab that very soon, it'll arrive by the end of the month. Alum Dart block arrived. No money for rods and pistons yet, looking to do that in June most likely. Need to mark up the headers for EGT bung locations, get them in so they can be sent out for coating. I made a list of things I need yet and it'll take my budgeted money until Nov to purchase everything I need, so some strategic ordering going on so the build stays efficient on timing. Amazing how expensive parts are compared to 12 years ago, some are 3-4x more, crazy, no wonder no one is building cars much anymore in Michigan

Roller cam bearings arrived. I got a set of Dart CNC heads at a reduced 65% off due to an extremely huge order I was a part of, they are bare castings so I'll need to get components. T&D shaft rockers for them arrived, I'll order the ARP stud kit for them today as I hear everyone is breaking the fastners that come with them (china shit?). Tin work will be done in 2-3 hrs then we'll send it all to powder coat next week. Still need to put EGT bungs in the headers and get them sent out for coating.
I'm a bit strapped for cash right now. Uncle SAM needed $3,800 from me this year, Shop didn't take enough money each week and screwed me over. New shoes on the Vette was $1700, new clutch in the daily driver $1,100 on top of all the parts I mentioned the last month. So moving forward I may have a couple months dull and boring as it'll just be labor related progress.
Got the new Holley carb on the Belair, need to bolt on the new fuel pump and new lines/filter yet and fire it up. Excited to drive it around this summer!!

Carb and fuel pump are on the Belair, plumb the lines tonight hoping. Stopped by GoFast last night Malibu build, seat rails are done, seat belts tabs are in place. Rear tin behind the seat is done and everything will go to powder coat soon. Next up is getting the steering all figured out and working around the big ass header tubes. Still need to mount the mid plate. Ron Shearer is supposed to have the 2200hp intercooler done by Friday, then we need to figure out how to mount that and a radiator. I think it's ready to come home at that point.
I haven't used a credit card so far, but I think I may as Mr. Williams has a carbon fiber rear trunk lid I so want badly.

Well I did what I said I'd never ever do again. . . . I used my credit card and bought Scott's carbon fiber trunk lid. Picking it up tonight at the drag strip. Need to get that paid off quickly as I feel like I let my self into the devil on this decision.

Ron Shearer is welding on the intercooler tomorrow so it won't be long now. Stopping by GoFast tonight to rattle Jimmer's cage a little. Can't wait to get this car home. Steering is next. Mid plate yet. then a small wing for appearance. I can't think of anything else but I'm sure I'm missing something. I have @ 250hrs of work to do at home putting it all together, I have a ton of parts laying around right now

Seat were mounted complete Monday, Shifter mounting Monday night, chute lever as well.
Steering is going to be a huge challenge. Headers take up every square inch of space, this ought to be interesting.
I think we'll end up putting a pipe through what's left of the K-member in order to make it work.

Carbon fiber trunk fit like a glove. I just sold some parts so I'll be picking up the Carbon fiber doors this weekend
if all goes smoothly, that'll knock some weight out of Smog Pump for sure.

I feel like I'm talking to myself in here...…..chirp chirp chirp

All the carbon is on the car and being painted right now. Steering all works well.
Gotta attach the chute, rear wing yet.
Gotta mount the intercooler and radiator yet.
Gotta figure out something with pedals then it comes home for the winter so I can start wiring.
ALOT to do, I doubt it'll be done by fall 2020 8)
