NOT!! My blazer died on the way to work.hopefully just the intake gasket finally went, because its sucking in every bit of water I give it and to top it all off everybody I know with an open trailer is working or there trucks r not available.so have to pay for a tow. At least I found a local guy that will do it for 60 bucks.
Oh and its pouring as I sit here waiting.
On top of all that my garage door spring broke and that was supposed to be my job for after work.
Ok my rant is over........for now. Lol

Sorry guys, The rain is my fault. I bought siding for the house Sunday. So I'm sure it will rain for the next month.

ok here's my dilemma. i drained the sludge from the pan and it filled 3 drain pans. came out like soft serve ice cream.NICE!
so do i put $100 into the intake gasket fix and run a few oil changes thru it before i even start it,running the pump with a drill to try and flush out all the nasty goo. and hope for the best ?
OR give up and consider the bearings trash and start over? I paid 1200 for this thing and drove it for 3 years already.

Change the oil. run it. Change it again. Run it for a week or so. Change it again. You'll be good to go.

well i got it all back together and running, but it has a pretty good lifter tick. i think there is one that got some water in it and wont pump up. it smooths out and quiets down at about 1200 rpm and it drives ok just real noisy at idle. im gonna try some lucas oil treatment to thicken things up and run it awhile to try and let it work itself out. i have nothing to lose at this point. if its toast its toast!
