Actually the motor sat all winter without backing off the valves. Then the guy pulled a couple 8 grand burnouts and nipped a valve.

This sounds like 2 issues...

1) NEVER DO A 8K BURNOUT!!!!!!!

2) When in doubt, replace the valve springs... :roll:

1) We had a discussion about how BAD it is to buzz the motor that high when it's not under a load.

2) At the VERY LEAST. Buy a spring tester!!!!
