It's been quite a while since I've given an update. Carol's doctors say she's officially in remission, but they are still doing one chemo med every 5 weeks. Cat scans show nothing abnormal and her CA125 is a "5" (0-35 is normal in females). Her hernia wound from Nov of 2008 is still haunting her a little, it is very small but still wheeping a bit requiring a large bandage and a elastic band she wears around her waist. She's put alot of weight on which is really bothering her back, but is trying to walk more. All in all she's in much better spirits right now and dealing with depression much better with the new drugs they put her on. We again thank everyone who helped out in the past financially, we couldn't have made it through those rough times without you and it's so much appreciated, it really helped us make it without loosing our home due to the medical bills and such. |
