Post subject:  Well.....
I was off work last week, everyone was off for a week shutdown.
I go back to work today and at 4:00 they call me up to the office to tell me I'm laid off.
40% of the company....

Me, I'm not to worried right now. Going tomorrow and pay off my Driver van and then all I'll have is my house payment and utilities. But there were a lot of good people laid off also that have families. The guy I worked with is still working, I guess the extra pay and 2 more weeks of vacation played in there decision... But I'm glad he's still working, he has a little boy and another on the way.

They said they would try and get me back in 90 days.

I have the money to build a garage and was going to take the first week of april off to start on it, so I guess I'll get an early start....
I figure I can get a few odds and ends jobs, if I have the garage done.

(Kevin, need any help with Chris's bathroom????) :)

Bath is almost done, but i'm sure i can find something to do, as long as you dont mind kevins pay rate that I pay him! ;)

I was at a Tier 1 for Honda yesterday and they are being told to get ready for full production the start of next month. That might be a good sign. At least for us because they are ready to purchase some new tools. Keep your fingers crossed.
