There's many ways to do this, but here's an easy way
1)Go to http://www.imageshack.us/
2)Hit "browse" and find the picture on your computer.
if you want it resized, click the resize dropdown and chose a size.
640x480 is a good size for these forums.
3)Click the "host it" button
after it uploads, you will be brought to the next screen.
1/2 way down the screen you will see "Hotlink for forums"
The box before those words holds the code.
4) Copy that code.
right click on the text. "select all" right click on the now blue text, "copy"
it should look something like:
