Post subject:  Progress Pics

Well I thought I'd share some pics of my new hobby. Not going as fast as I'd like, but rewarding anyhow. I can't afford the real thing anymore, so this is working out just fine
First one is a 67 Vette Pro Stock and the future one is going to be a 55 Chevy Pro Mod

The 55 came as a chop top in the kit I bought.
I'll be looking at air brushes as soon as I save up enough money to buy one, that's about the only tool I'm currently lacking.........well I think anyways. Property taxes due Friday and income tax oppointment on Saturday

We're still using the cans of air. It's cheaper than a compressor, and they last a long time.

i read somewhere that you can use a regular compressor for air brushes. of course it'd be loud, but it'd work well.

You would have to be VERY careful. The volume of air coming out of a regular compressor could damage the airbrush unless it was regulated WAY down.

When I was painting my gas RC bodies, that paint wanted 110 PSI.

I think it depends on the paint you use.

some want 50psi

some want 30 psi

i'm just not sure if a regular compressor can regulate a constant enough pressure
