thanks. I got the carfax and of course there was no info that was useful to me on it. It is a car that I am looking for.

If you can verify the VIN is correct I can check the GM system and tell you if any warranty work has been done (how many times back to the dealership, etc).

Keith I double checked and this is what I have as a vin #. Thank you for checking on it for me. It is not to often that a debtor gets under my skin but this guy has me mad and I want to find his car.

Be careful about all of these reporting services like Carfax. They all have the same flaw.

If a car gets wrecked bad & the ins co sends it to auction, then it gets reported. However, if they fix it, then there is no evidence of the accident in the files.

IMHO, Carfax is bullshit & won't replace an inspection by a good mechanic.

I heard that you might find a good wrench in this forum that might help you, but it could only be a rumor...

My Envoy and another car rubbed together. No damage. All I did was rub the rubber off the wheelwell. When I traded it in they wanted to give me less because Car fax said it was in an accident :roll:
