They still didn't sew her up, powerwash, redress and reattach the vacuum.....................This is REALLY getting old.

Well try #4 for Carol today at 2pm. We hope they can finally sew her up for good today. She starts chemo on thursday, they said she'll be bald by Christmas. She's pretty depressed right now, but I'm doing my best with her. |

I'm sure they are doing the right thing Dogg.. I'm sure it's very frustrating but to sew her up and then later cut her open is a worse decision... |

Dogg I have been praying that this gets easier for you guys. You have been put thru the ringer and forwards and backwards. I know that this is a little off base but I think that Rita has some issues with infections with some mesh from a surgery. Hopefully she will see this and chime in. I remember something about it not healing and them using staples to close her up. I think that she had issues with the staples and this has been an ongoing issue for a while. It is best to let the doctors take the time to make sure all of the icky is out before they close her up. Keep your chin up and I will continue to think of you. |

Well surgery #6 went well yesterday. She has a doc's appointment Monday after Christmas and they may be able to do a local numming and finally sew her up. No infection yesterday, they did get rid of some dead tissue and sew'd up as much as possible. Damn this is getting old. She was in good spirits today. All the prayers are helping, thanks a ton for all the support. |
