Just wanted to say hey !!!! Life has been crazy lately and I have been a little MIA. Here's an update. * Both Jeanette and I have been doing good, getting healthy and getting our lives back on track. * Jeanette is taking her buy-out from Chrysler and getting out of the Auto industry. She has a Masters in Finance and 2 Bachelors in Accounting, so she is not having trouble finding a new job. Plus we get a new car out of the deal and looks like we are getting a new Nitro SLT. * I have been packing my house and throwing out 14 years of stuff, getting ready for the big move in with Jeanette. Should be completely in by X-mas. * Jordan is doing great, just bought the tubing to start building his Jr. Dragster, should have it completed by next summer. He is excited. He has been busy doing the first grade stuff and also busy with Cub Scouts. I have been cautious about making another change in his life but he really likes Jeanette and he wants to make a move and make new friends. Jeanette's house is only 1 mile from where we are now and he will still go to the same school. * Making changes to the chassis on my car. Going with mini-tubs, coil overs and a larger slick. Well large for me (28x10.5) as well as re-doing the cage so with the next motor change I can get the car certified. Going to race all next year at Ubly and maybe some close NMCA races in Open Comp. I live at 23 mile road and Mound (right on 23 mile road). Moving to 22 mile road and Shelby. The house we bought is one street over from the house I grew up in. So I know it's a great neighbor hood for Jordan to grow up in and the house was completely gutted and rebuilt in 2006, also added on 1000 sq ft. Kind of a new house on old bones. The only real issue I have is the new garage is only 20 x 20, mine now is only 24 x 24 but it seems so much larger. I am going to keep the car and trailer at the shop and maybe talk Jeanette into building a second garage sometime in the future...LOL. Thanks guys, enjoying the snow yet ???? |
