Post subject:  Big Weekend!
Well, everything came together as planned -

I had a four day weekend (but crammed it into three days!).

Got through tech and qualified on Friday (although qualified poorly with a too quick 10.39 on my 10.50 index).

Drove to the wedding in Indy on Saturday. Wedding was at 5:30; my plan was to leave the reception at 9 pm but we still hadn't eaten. Got out of there about 10 pm and got home at 3 am.

Back to the track Sunday morning for first round, where I promptly went red :oops: .

So - what did I miss?

Laurers had a fire? Glad to see everything turned out ok there.

Red nova went out in the first round with a 10 second pass? What happened?

Ahhh, so that's why Chris wouldn't speak up on what happened! Sucks Kev!

Sorry I missed ya Keith and about your luck, seems that was the kinda weekend for us all :(

I'm tired....
Hotlanta... my favorite thing about that track is that there are hotels less then a mile away. Used to be a really good resturant down the road but it was gone when we went last year. Cripples... opps I mean Sammie's birthday is on the 19th. So I am letting her decide if we are going to go to the race or not.

Keith how is your wife doing?

She's a tough lady...but I think this is starting to wear her down.

She's been out in Phoenix since last Tuesday (plus a couple weeks prior to that). I think she will stay this week and then let one of the other siblings take over.

I am missing her in a lot of different ways that I didn't expect...

Keith, just be there for her and tell her exactly what you told us about missing her! When she gets back make sure you show her just how much she means to you! It will go a long way!!!!!!!!!!!!
