To Colleen for the Bleach, you are a lifesaver!

Susie for the Brake Clean we never used and I returned ( I hope Billy told you that)! Also to Kevin who was going to make the trip on the way in on Saturday with even more Brake Clean for us, thanks :wink:

To Chris, you are such a sweetheart, thanks for the hug and shoulder and just the comraderie(sp)!

A SUPER HUGE THANKS to everyone that lended a hug, shoulder, sympathy and remorse after Dave's fire! I thank god he was okay and the damage to the car is minimal! YOU ALL ROCK and I LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!!!

Yup, he had a great run, hit the chutes the car filled with smoke, thank god for automatic windows, cleared the air in time to make the turn off and stopped, safety crew came running at him saying he was on fire, he hit the halon, didn't help, fire was all underneath the car, the safety crew did get it out quickly though! Apparently the tranny super over heated and spewed tranny fluid everywhere and it hit it's flash point and ignited! Dave is fine, the car is fine and the only damage appears to be a tranny seal! The car is one tranny oil mess but we will get her fixed up and a cooling unit added to the tranny and we should be good to go for Tucci's race in a few weeks!

Hey Shannon. It was nice meeting you and your husband this weekend. You guys are great! Sorry about the car. At least you got a good pass in though! I understand wanting to leave, but I sure could have used your shoulder to cry on today! doh! I'll let kevin update you.

I miss everyone already! It was great seeing you all just wish we could have hung longer but once the generator died on Sat morning Dave was ready to scoot but at least he let us stick around for qualifying! At least the ride home was uneventful and boy was it much easier to get back into NY then it was to get into MI :roll:

Tranny and Convertor are already out and on there way to Carl this morning! Now it's just cleaning up the Tranny fluid off the car we missed on Friday night :?
