It truly truly amazes me the ignorance and bashing of American made products online. The only way I can justify it is if people from over-seas or competing countries tried to boost their own countries images by postng here and bashing American cars. (Anyone played with a lead based toy lately? Hi China!). Or maybe just some good old fashioned internet trolling.

It wouldn't make sense for an American to bash an American car company. It wouldn't make sense for an American to WANT to send their money over seas to support other countries economies when the U.S. economy is in such shambles. I refuse to admit that there are people ignorant enough just not get it. Is it THAT hard to google something as easy as"jd powers 2007 vehicle dependability study" and see that Buick (pssst that's a GM company) is the most dependable nameplate of any car company in the world, tied with Lexus. Number 3 is Cadlliac (pssst, that's 2 out the of the 3 MOST DEPENDABLE vehicles are GM).

Let me repeat that.........GM cars and GM the car company being sold in this thread holds 2 of the top 3 most dependable vehicles of ALLLLLLLLLLL car companies.

This entire post is pockmarked with misinformed, and mis-guided peopled trying to rationalize their poor purchase decisions of inferior products designed, made, and assembled in other countries.

Call me a fan boi of American cars, I'm OK with that. But American cars are once again the most dependable in the world. And my money stays here, where I live, in America.
