Just posting while I am thinking of it -

My family is heading out to Phoenix after the car show on Sunday. My father in law is quite sick (he has cancer and it is in his ribcage) so we are taking the kids out to see him one last time.

We are driving out and taking some of the cousins with us. I should have some computer hookups out there but won't be checking in every day.

See you around the 14th/15th or so...(I mean, after I leave work today)...

Keith I am sorry to hear about your father in law. I will say a prayer for him and your family. Do you best to enjoy your trip. How old are your kids?

Oldest is 22 and the youngest (twins) are 9.

Made it safe and sound. Drove 34 hours straight through (I stopped and napped for about an hour on two occasions)

This will making driving to Atlanta and Memphis seem like a breeze! :lol:

Apparently we had a chance encounter with a perturbed porcupine. I didn't remember seeing him so I don't know what prompted him to loose his venom on my RF tire...

PS: those cant be the real NASCAR cars, can they? I'd think they'd drive their own with duplicates in a stacker or something.

Chris, Those are just show/display cars. Like the ones that you advertised to be at a dealership or mall on a certain weekend.
