NHRA last weekend was showing pics of the new Z-Max Dragway in North Carolina. It has 4 lanes of racing......................Why? |

Because they can run all 4 lanes at once and speed the show up, or if there is a bad oil down they just switch to the outher too lanes while they clean it up. It keeps the show moving. Thats what I heared.  Cool place big $$$$$$$$$$$ spent there.

You wouldn't catch me cleaning up an oil down while nitro is running right next to me.

I think they would say the same thing to. I heared years ago there were a few places that ran 4 lanes at once. I guess we will see what there going to do real soon

I heard the owners of the new track (Smith's) are also buying the NHRA and going to take over when they race at the new track after the US Nationals.
