It was GREAT seeing you this weekend! Sorry we didn't have more time to chat but being with no crew made it hard to get away and socialize |

It was great to see you too. I spent most of Sunday out of the heat after getting sick from it on Saturday. I can not get over how hot it is here. Suppose to be 100 again today. Sammie and I wanted to do some sightseeing... looks like we are going to be looking for indoor activites. |

This weekend was a f*cking disaster! We should have known when we had to turn around a mile from the house to retrieve the lap top that it wasn't going to be a good weekend! Our 3rd time used generator bit the dust 2hrs before qualifying on Sat, luckily Ray and Jimmy had just stopped by and Ray ran Dave out to buy a new one and it's HOT! Go to qualify and he has a small but fixable issue! Sat morning goes to warm up the car, odd noise, push rod out of rocker, whack the lifter too, wtf, and it's HOT! Have everything except the right push rod, some modifications to another one and we are ready for rd 3 after missing rd 2! He goes out, throttle stuck the whole way down the track, but we are qualified and its HOT! Pull the dash, find the tps has managed to back it's way off with two screws falling out, damn, oh and it's f*cking HOT! So to bed early, up early ready to go only to find out we aren't freaking running until noon, sit in the HOT until 1st round, everything looks good, WOW, Dave's win light shows we got it with a 5.80, WTF, no mph! Our buddy Steve is on the radio with Dave, I'm chatting with the nice guy chatting with the tower, NO ONE HAS A CLUE WHAT HAPPENED! Okay, I leave to pick up Dave, find out there was a freaking huge a** black snake curled up in the timing box and he tripped our light, good lord! The guy in the right lane had Dave by about 2 car lengths, so there was no dispute, he got the win clearly! The data we got to the 1/8th shows a best mph yet even though a small change Dave made had the car trying to push him through the lights and he had no chance to make boost cause he had to hold the tran break hard to not go through! So we spent a lot of money to get a little data! Oh and did I mention it was freaking hot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

F*cking hot, just ask poor Susie! Even Bill T. had a crew member go down from heat exhaustion on Sat night too! If you weren't watching yourself you were getting sick, it was insane! We were going to hit NMRA Milan coming up this weekend but on the ride home we decided to stick close to home! We are gonna go thru the car and just double check a bunch of stuff and test locally this weekend! If all goes well we might hit the next FFW race in Virginia in a couple weeks! If not then we have the choice of a local mustang (MOM's) race or the OSCA race the last weekend of June! Anything new on your car? When you guys going out next? |

All in all the bottom line is the car & motor are in one piece for once and luckily it's just been this little stuff driving us batty! I'll take it over the chewing up parts we did left and right last year! Twin Turbo's Baby, we're loving them |

It is a 1999 Monte Carlo. It is a Prostock car that Moser Engineering used to own before this guy bought it... |
