I am new too just a little belated. LOL

Here is my Nova....

Image

Now the campaigning starts.....small block or big block. As you can see the towers are cut for a big block too. Hmmmmm

Kevin and Monty.......this is an election year....time for the debate before the July Election.

New Release to CNN.....Sledgehammer Primaries both canidates are dead even.....(Elephant....and Donkey)...which one is which?

I bet Kevin is a Republican and Monty is a Democrat but that doesn't matter for the Sledgehammer Primaries.

May the debates begin!!!!

First question goes to the Canidate with the Red Nova......

Why should I go with a BBC over a SBC?

. o O this should get fun

I would suggest going with the big block. They are cheaper to build and we all know the budgetary constraints. It really depends on how fast you want to go? How fast are you looking to go? 8's? 9's? The cost of the small block seems to grow exponentially once you start to creep into the 8's and faster.

Don't get me wrong. I think if you are smart and have talent, the SB would work. But $ for $, you'd be better off starting with a BB. Just my humble opinion.

Sorry for not getting back to you yet. Still searching for the docs. I haven't forgot though! :o

OK Sledgehammer, you got me involved. :D #1 for $10,000 you can go low 8's. #2 for $20,000 you can go low 7's. #3 The BBC parts are alot stronger than SBC parts. #4BBC parts are more readily available. #5 Ya just can't make as much power with a SBC as you can with a BBC.

HEHE.....I thought that would be the stick in the beehive....*BIG GRIN*

Marc.....I almost gave up the ghost on you buddy.....had me wondering what was going on in that mind. We don't need the docs to get started. Time is of the essence here in many different ways.

Monty.....I knew you would tote the SBC flag...and well I might add.

Kevin.....HEHE>...ditto for you too. From a business standpoint I.....<EOM>

To Be Continued.........

PS don't you hate the cliffhanger episodes like that????

2) Shrimp Boats
And Dana's Are for

Run, Forrest, Run. Gotta get me a shrimp boat.
Three good uses for small blocks:

1. REDNECK chainsaws

2. Keeping the dog tied up in the yard

3. Starter motors for "real" race motors

If you look up "SMALL BLOCK" in the Websters Dictionary it says:
"Small Block, N, A hole in an engine compartment where the owner continues to throw money at it trying to get close to Big Blocks performance.
AJT. The damn small block just can't hang with those big blocks.

REDNECK, Redneck drag racing, floor it, turn left."  John
