Doesn't suprise me, they cut back at the refineries to force more demand. The us uses twice the amount of fuel as it did just 5 years ago. |

Actually our fuel usage has gone up very little. Passenger usage was 67,819 million gallons in 1970. Compared to 73,830 million gallons in 2005. Total usage was 92,329 million gallons in 1970 114,960 in 1980 130,755 in 1990 179,100 in 2005 |

we give $18 billion in tax credits to the oil companies. I guess they arent making enough profit. maybe we should increase those tax credits. |
