Let the small block domination in Orlando be the final nail in this arguement!!! Well the year ends with a big bang in Orlando.. The small blocks continue to dominate the year over the big blocks. Pro Outlaw - Chuck Samuals 400 SBF with a 6.62 winning the event in a 55 car field 10.5 - Tim Lynch 449 SBF with a 7.11 #1 Qualifier and winner of the event in a 91 car field Heavy Street - Elliot Thompson 390 SBC with a 7.47 but suffered a blown transmission in elimination. Rob Golobo with a win in this class with a 7.59 out of his 632 BBC in a 64 car field. Drag Radial - Rick Head 427 SBC running a 7.66 for number 1 qualifier and the winner of the event in a 68 car field. Big Block guys... Its not looking too good!!! Let the slamming begin!!! Only reason Heavy Street was a Big Block was because the number one qualifier didn't use a Hutch trans... Let theories continue!! But let reality tell the facts!!! Just been a very sad year for the Big Block guys!!!! |
