I was told it is a spin off an older show called "Dance Fever".............
They just sing instead of dance is all. I think I might have heard about this on the radio, know that I'm thinking about it. I hate reality shows.

LOL! Regardless.... it is the only "reality show" (IN MY OPINION) that is ok to watch. And, again... this is ONLY MY OPINION, hee hee.... (don't want to start any wars on here or anything, hee hee! I am just gettin' to know ya'll and don't need any enemies :wink: )
