He sweetie how's it goin?????

Freaking sucks today! Some idiot in a semi decided to take out an old cable/phone pole in the front yard(split in two places) along with my mailbox (which Dave just replaced 2 wks ago because the damn snow plow took it out) then the f*cker kept going! Called 911 and gave them a description but don't know if they got him or not! He hit the ditch in front of the house and managed to keep it upright, barely, and only missed a car waiting to make a turn off the side road because he put it in reverse and got out of the way! A**holes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And how are you Hon?

Reminds me of when we lived in Davisburg, on this little one lane dirt road...

After one blizzard the garbage truck got stuck right in front of our house  It was stuck there for several hours and so when I heard the snow plow coming (one of those "road grader" jobbies) I thought "oh good, he'll pull this guy out".

Nope. The darn snow plow pulls up his blade, goes through the neighbors front yard (over the top of their mailbox) and down the road! Leaves this stuck pig right in front of our house!

Finally, later in the day, the trash company came and extricated thier dang truck. But the snow plow never came back. So now we have this huge "snow bog" right in front of our house. I kid you not, people were lining up to get stuck in this thing. We'd be sitting in the house, you'd hear them rev the motor and then a gentle "...foomp" as they got sucked into this snowy underbelly. We'd put all our stuff on, go pull 'em out, come back in, warm up, and wait to do it again.

Three days this went on. One clown, after we pushed him out, says "hey, that wasn't nearly as bad as when I got stuck here yesterday!"

Yep Keith, that sounds about right! The funny part is we just had the ditch re dug out a few weeks ago cause we had major draining issues (flooding basement, filling up septic) it was horrible! So after a week of Dave calling every day and screaming at the NYS DOT they dug it out and extended it and replaced the tube under the driveway. So all these idiots that like to pass people making a left on the right are heading right for this newly dug ditch! We had commented to each other we wondered who the first casualty would be and sure enough last Tuesday Dave walks in the door from work and says there's a jeep stuck in the ditch. I look out the window and he's got his entire passenger side stuck in the ditch, right next to the same pole the semi took out, he just missed it! He managed to get himself out somehow but I have the feeling this is going to be a winter trend, idiots I tell ya, idiots
