title issue's

Well after buying at least 30 vehicles in my life I got a problem with a title. Received a "Clear" title with the blazer I bought, Green michigan title,"no secured interest on record" printed across the front. then the fun begins.
I went to the secreatary of state and they pull it up and say it has a lean on it. so after 2 weeks of getting the run around from the owner, i finally get the payoff statement from his bank. back to the state. they pull it up and then tell me that another title was issued that has the lean on it and I need to bring that one in, so ive been calling this stupid ass for 3 days with no returned phone calls. sorry had to vent. I'll get it handled :twisted:

i looked up the fax # he used and it was to an at+t store so I called and asked for him, she said he wasnt working tonight. so at least I know where he works now. In case I need to make his life miserable.

Well I got it handled Today.
Good thing the secretary of state still has PEOPLE working there, because when people are involved you can count on no 2 doing the same thing.

I went to another location and didnt say a thing, just handed her the paperwork and she ran it thru and gave me my temporary title and said the new one will be in the mail in 7-10 days. :lol:

wooo hooo.

Then for fun I called the guy at work and he answered the phone. when I said it was me, he said he was'nt avoiding me. but he lost his phone :roll:

That's fer sure....

When I registered the Chevelle with a same year plate (M plate) it went through with no problem (even though technically M plates or Dealer plates are not allowed). I've also got a Dealer plate on the Lemans.

When I tried to do the same thing with a Dealer plate on the GTO -

BAM! Denied -
