We have our taxes done. The same lady has been doing them for 25 years.

Usually we go in, sit down and she and my wife cackle about children or whatever like a couple of old hens. About 45 minutes in to this I'm thinking "...shouldn't we be getting started?" and about that time she will wheel the computer screen around and say "well, you're getting this much back Federal and this much back State".



This year it was 11 minutes from the time I sat down until she turned the screen.



I think it was a personal best...

I like my tax guy.

me - uhhh none?

tax guy- are you sure you didnt donate like $458?

me - oh, yes, i'm sorry, i donated 458 last year.

tax guy - ok. that's what i thought. that's a good number for you to stay off the radar.
