the set screws came loose and let the key walk out making the shaft on the motor spin in the pulley creating the aweful noise. glad i got it fixed, they still suck though, cant even use loctite on there stuff....

Did it mess up the shaft at all.. If there was any question at all I would be returnung it... It has to last right????

I got alot of wood working equipment for X-mas (Band Saw, Router Table, Scroll Saw, Table Saw, Miter Saw, Etc.) I filled out every warranty card and when I took them out of the boxes I tightened every screw I could find. Needless to saw about 40% of them were tight. I am glad I was diligent in doing this, as I never do, just toss the warranty card in a drawer and fire up the machine.

i meant they are too cheap to use loctite when they assembled it at there factory, if they did the darn thing woulnt have come loose.
