Jenni Merrick in (I forget what the EFI combo is called this year) final
Brian Merrick in the NSS final
Thats all I remember.....

Jon DeCerbo won over John Stanley in the PRO Final ?????
Whats up with that?

I know you would have liked for the local guy to have done it, BUT we won!!!

John Stanley wins when Jon DeCerbo redlights with .226 light...

Camp, sounds like your boy has found his "double edged sword" as they would say, he's got em running scared two ways, he's got the tree locked and he can catch em at the top end  Way to go John

Congratulations on your runner up Kevin and to you Mr. Camp on your win.
What kind of numbers did you boys run?
It seems like everybody had a great time and the weather was good.

The weather was great... The corrected altitude was around 2500 ft. I think.... NPS qualifing was...

#1 George 7.63
#2 Radnes 7.66
#3 Smith(hubers truck) 7.67 or .68 can't remember
#4 me I almost put Parent  7.69
#5 Rickart 7.85
#6 7.9's

It was a 6 car field... Mitch George had a bye to the finals. I raced Smith first round and he red lit against me. Ricart beat Radnes. I beat Ricart. Then Mitch handed me my a$$..... Close race to the 330.... We both had .447 lights. We both went 1.13 60'. He had me .01 to the 330'. He had me by .04 to the 1/8 and beat me by just under a tenth....When I look at my data logger the O2 is showing dead fat from 1 second to 4 seconds and then comes back to where I want it.. That is where I am currently working to stop that from happening but haven't figured it out yet...

You did really well - great numbers. You'll figure out your stuff - you always do.

I see now I have to run at least 50's to keep up with you guys. I better go fertilize my money tree.

Kevin thanks so much for keeping me in the loop. At least this way I still feel part of it all.

Camp you guys sure are kicking butt. way to go.

This was a GREAT lil facility where we just completed this race! Never, ever let anybody tell you that a little race track in the middle of "Podunk, Anywheresville, USA" can't produce a GREAT surface conducive to some quick times!

Allow me to respond step by step if you will...

Shannon-Get your butt back to the track, we miss you and all your lip! Thanks for the kind words about the world's best driver!

Ellen-We went 6.48/220+ in our 2nd qualifier which was also the finals from Morocco. this was good for top speed of the meet. We went after the MPH record in the last qualifier which wasn't to be when the car drove left. That was fixed by the very capable ProCar people on site Sat night. We went 6.47/217 1st round and then 6.53/217 against a 6.48 in the semis against Steve King and broke a blower belt 6.3 seconds into the run.

Coleen-I need photos, PLEASE!

Rita- Nice.... Nice....
